The Nuts
The best possible hand on a given board. If you have the nuts, no one at the table can beat you on the current cards. Pros use it as a constant reference — they ask 'what's the nuts here?' before they ask about their own hand.
Example
Board: A♠ K♠ Q♠ J♠ 2♥. The nuts is T♠ — making a Royal Flush.
