Pot Odds
The ratio of the current pot to the cost of a contemplated call. Comparing pot odds to your hand's equity tells you whether calling is profitable in the long run. The single most profitable habit in poker.
Example
Pot is €100, opponent bets €50. You call €50 to win €150 — you're getting 3:1, so you need to win at least 25% of the time.
